Seems as though you have covered all the bases as far as CA hinges go. When I used to install CA hinges I would insert them the long way. I've also seen where the hing was longer than the recieving stock, so I guess it would not hurt to install them on the width. Regardless of how well they are installed, sub torque servos or a weak linkage setup will destoy them if flutter results. Good luck, Joe
