There are a number of 9C Futaba radios out. The latest is called the "Super" or a 9CAPS for airplanes and a 9CHS for helicopters. Each one has more features than the previous radio with the Super versions having the most features of the 9C series. The biggest differences between the heli and airplane versions is that some default switch locations are different but the switches are all assignable to the various functions, the other difference is that the heli version does not have a ratchet on the throttle stick.
Of course then there is the 9Z, but those are about three times as much money as the 9C...
