Yea, I would give him the jump and still pull him hard at first. Whatever lead I created there, stayed. I could definately see a difference in acceleration when we would come out of turns on a long straight.

My pede is electric. If you are thinking about getting one, definately do it. That dang thing is so reliable. By my posts on here about my MT2, you know how I treat RC's. I don't think I can break that Stampede. Me and my buddies will run the nitros until we do something stupid and break them, then pull out the ole faithful electrics to get a little bit more bash time.
