I have heard of some RC'ers drilling a very small hole in top and bottom of starter plate and squirting nitro cleaner in there when the one way bearing is getting fouled by the spent nitro that is not pulled into the manifold. I haven't tried this. I wonder if the hole in the bottom would allow dirt in there? Maybe drill the holes on the sides and tilt to spray into the starter plate and let drain through other side.
