I would guess he is talking about the Y/A kits as the word great is referred to in both posts.
Its a sure bet he is not talking about TGA. At the jet meets I have been to, the pilots of the TGA kits are all flying the heck out of them.
The TGA kits are a little larger than most of the Y/A and JHH kits.
I have noticed that they are easier to see in the air, can handle higher winds and can hold up to the abuse of everyday grass field operation.
The JHH kits were small and always a chore to build with a lot of balsa block sanding etc. I do not know if they are still that way.
I have also built and flown the Enforcer and I liked my TGA F-15 much better and so did the spectators and other pilots. I liked it because it grooved better in flight, but they probably liked it because it looked like a real plane.
I read where you were on a tight budget and the Y/A, JHH and TGA might not be the least expensive kits but I suggest you take a look at them, especially TGA
