This is my first gas burner and I just wanted to make sure that I didn't screw up.
I have been flying the 40 and 60 size stiks for years and looking forward to getting this one in the air.

I like about your idea but it looks like the spacers are necessary for muffler clearance also. Are you using a different muffler ??
Besides, I really like the spring start. I plan to mount my battery pack as far back as necessary for proper CG. I have a rather heavy pack, 2400mah at 8.7 ounces
Might have to make a hatch in the rear part of the fuse.
Also, did you do any extra beefing of the firewall or use it as is. Looks pretty strong with the aluminum angle braces.

You are correct. The original position is too high to mount the engine upright.
I will need to drop it about 3/4 inch which will put the crank line about or just below vertical center of the firewall.
There is around 2 degrees thrust offset built into the firewall so the original horizontal line is 1/4 inch left of center.
I will be able to maintain this without any problem.
