Honestly, you have a choice of any RTR ST on the market. The Jato is pretty cool, and it is the only newer ST to my knowledge that has EZ start- means it has a glow starter/engine starter that are operated by a controller that comes with the kit. If you don't like pull starts, and don't have a starter box, that would be a big plus. It has a 2 speed and is probably the fastest of the lot- like 50MPH+. Speed isn't everything though... All of these things are what give the Jato a $75+ price tag higher then the others.

Otherwise, the XTM Xcellerator, Associated RC-10GT RTR Plus, Losi XXXNT 2 RTR are good choices. You should be able to get any one of those new for $250-275.

Don't forget, you will need fuel, glow starter, temp gun and a few other things, so budget for those too.
