I think any plane specified for an engine in the 28 LBS range is a perfect candidate for a 40 LBS engine ... I will agree with you on that the at400 is a great engine, that’s however if you have one that runs reliably, (which so far has been a game of Russian roulette with these) It was perfect on my king cat, and I was going to use one ( which i returned and got a p180 instead) in a CAI Raptor. I think the SM or Tam F-18 is a good candidate as well.. then there are the CompARF euro sport and lightning which would probably be nice homes for this engine too ... if you are sufficiently nuts however, get a hot spot, glass the wings with a carbon veil, reinforce it, and strap the at400 to that
