RE: .40 or .60 size ARF Stik
The ultra sticks are nice, but so are GP's sticks! I used to have a GP big stick 60 that I crashed. I replaced it with the ultra stick 60 and it is fun in it's own right. They fly alot alike, but also differently. I like playing with the quad flaps. HOwever, my old GP big stick was my trusty windy day plane. I quickly found out that the ultrastick doesn't like the wind as much as the big stick does. Therefore, I will probabably have another GP big stick in the hanger before spring winds get here!
As for 40 vs 60--that is your choice. I like the size of the 60's, but they are not as responsive as the 40's when it comes to doing crazy stuff (i.e. snap rolls and so on). It's strictly a matter of opinion, and what you like best. The 60 sized definitely is easier to see, and, in the case of the GP, is a better windy day plane!
