Default RE: GP Super Stearman

ORIGINAL: KCCraig

hey anybody:

Reguarding MGA's muffler on his FPE. I have one of these engines and would like to know what muffler he is useing on his super stearman. It really cleans up the cowl nicely as opposed to the standard side mounted one. I left a message here asking him to reply, but apparently he is not watching this forum any more.
Anyone know what it is, or who makes a pitts style for the FPE?
Thanks Craig
Not shure about FPE. But give Pete at http://wackerengines.com/ a call, likes to talk. He custom made my Pitts muffler, as the one he was selling sat to far back. He is now selling this shorter version for the Homelite 33, 45 and the newer 50 for those planes with shorter cowlings. Flew for first time last week, just a joy to fly. Will not quite do unlimted vertical, will try and 18x6 prop next. Working on TME
smoker for next week. Here's some pic's.
