If it ain't broke I don't fix it, but maintenance doesn't count. I did not redirect the thread, someone else made the original statement. My second response was on track.
Now this forum could also be split gas and glow, but I still think it should be left alone or just make a new forum for WW1 but I would not visit it and miss something.

I think scratch building used to be design and build. Many people have miss used the term and now it means plans built. I prefer to use the terms - plans built or scratch built (meaning design and build)
I think I am in the minority here though.
Are you working on the "if it don't stink, stir it" mentality here? This is a topic for another thread, not to take this one off base. Has nothing to do with splitting the forum.
