It doesn't flip over on every turn, but if will flip over before the Revo and other do. You get used to how fast you can hit a turn before it flips. And unless you are racing, it's not a really big deal. When you are just bashing or goofing around, it's not a big deal to slow down a little before cornering. Also, you can slide the back end around on some surfaces, just not on high grip surfaces like grass. You just have to play with it and get a feel for what you can get away with.
For bashing, you are making a great choice. The Savage is very fun and durable, straight out of the box.
