I trimmed about a 1/4" off the bottom of a Williams Bros. pilot to fit in my Midstar. It worked out OK. But it you decide to trim yours (It is a Williams Bros. right?) you'll loose that flat surface area on the bottom. So make sure you secure him in the cockpit well.
