I upgraded from a Futaba 9Z to a JR 10x for the two extra channels. If Futaba does indeed come out with a true 12 channel radio, I'd have to upgrade again, and get the 12 channel radio. Flying the bigger planes, and now turbines, those extra channels are worth more than gold
