true, people support the companies they like. and that's fine. I think that traxxas is good. they make decent products and have a good reputation. I will side with the better car, regardless of manufacturer. I think that the revo is cool as-is. it's just that as I perfer electric (or large scale gas) and not nitro, I would go for an e-revo instead. if traxxas were to make an e-revo like they did for the maxx, they would probably do it well.
