RE: BCP LG upgrade
Next, the new frame will force the movement of the front canopy mounting rod. I still have not done this and don't know quite where I'll reposition this but it shouldn't be a problem.
the Shogun is almost done and needed the GY240 back but the test flight was in my living room....3' X 5' and I can tell there is a weight gain without putting it on a scale. Not enough to bother me but it's at 4 deg pitch at a 4' hover. That is a degree more than before. I hovered for about 4 min. and nothing was hot....barely warm but I'm betting flight time (25+ min) is going to suffer some...he he...no big deal though.
It's allot tougher now...that's a solid fact. It would take a hell of a wreck to break this now. I'm guessing the week spot is at the drilling and screwing that attached the kit to the BCP frame.
BTW... the kit comes with a horizontal tail fin and boom braces......these are a joke, heavy and useless IMO.
