Yes the glow driver is pulsed DC from 12V supply very efficent on power convertion. Always turn knob all the way counter clock wise the first time you use it. Connect glow then turn until a nice red to white glow light from plug an leave alone until change plug or useing different wire to connect to your plug. Also glow charger is only a dropping resistor no voltage regulation must remember to take off after xxx time or whenever the battery starts to get warm if you forget the battery will over charge.
