I use 5945 on my eurosport without any problem ( 5 cells regulated at 5.5V).
I've bought a pair of the new 5955TG for the JL F-15 that I'm building, they look strong with the aluminium case, I have done some "hangar flying" to test them and they seem just right.
I would'nt call them cheap cause they are nearly the same price as a 8411...

I don't see why they wouldn't work with the matchbox, but if you use the servo programmer you don't need any matchbox
