Default RE: Adding ailerons to PT-Electric ??

The PT-Electric was a much smaller airplane than the PT-40 and there would be no compatablity at all with the wings.

If powered with a fifty size can motor and a servo operated on/off switch as it was designed for then adding ailerons would be a mistake in terms of acceptable performance with the additional weight. The nosewheel on this airplane was fixed to avoid even a little extra weight.

There was a .25 sized version and I beleve it was called the PT-25. It was identical in dimension but used a heavier structure. The .15 conversion done to the 'E' mentioned by Maxx would not be a bad idea but agine ailerons would not be needed at all or desirable.
