I did the floats this weekend and have the following advice.

1. Do a search for Jim Casey here at RC Universe and check out his links for setting up planes for floats.
2. Following his advice and buy or build a set of floam floats. Pay attention to the details a set them up according to his instructions.
3. Have an experienced seaplane pilot take it off and reset the trims for you.
4. Have fun.

The Alpha handled the floats fine and took off and landed just fine. The Evolution 46 was easily up to the task. I was using a 10x6 Master Airscrew prop.
