Default RE: need help on a buggy

Go for the mayhem

Ravager is about a pound and a half to two pounds heavier then the mayhem. You also need to upgrade basically all of the electronics right out of the box but the radio is duable just for bashing (barly). The engine doesn't make quite as much power but it does have a lot of low end torque and you wont have the same kind of speed from it. Also the diffs just come with a dab of grease in them. You get what you paid for and it really isn't much unless you plan on throwing it out fairly soon.

The mayhem is a lot lighter giving you faster acceleration and shorter braking distance but this also helps with durability. The engine makes more power even though it comes in at a later rpm and you have more rpms which gets the buggy up to higher speeds. You'll NEVER need to upgrade the electronics. The servos aren't the best but there not something you need to upgrade right out of the box like with the ravager. The radio is great and you'll never need anything more.... I race with the synthesized version. It comes with oil in the diffs which lets the diffs last longer and give smoother more consistant handling. In my opinion it is the best RTR buggy out there but the cen matrix seems to be right with it.
