Hey Easymoney: I have moved them back, so I don't see why you couldn't move it forward. One other option would be to try longer motor mounts. Or go with hardwood mounts, that extend about 2 formers back into the fuse and as long as you want in front of the firewall. I still like the idea of a bigger badder motor.
