Default RE: Anyone Using Karbonite Gear Servos on the Ultimate?

I had karbonite gears and I thought they were just the coolest thing until a mechanic for rc racing cars said I would be wise to check them because they can't take any kind of a shock. He wouldn't even use them. When I got home I checked the servos in my plane and 2 of them already had a tooth missing around the center point and a 3rd servo felt like it was getting ready to pop another tooth. The response I got from Hitec was very disapointing. These servos had never been abused and had very little flight time on them. I stopped using Hitec and only buy Futaba the JR 8411a.
