Hello,

I'm new here and to gas powered rc cars (have owned a plane a while ago) and I have a couple of questions about the model I purchased on ebay and about inital startup.

First the car I purchased on ebay and the one delivered to me is slightly diffrent but so far no complaints from me since the one shipped has a larger engine (.18) than advertised. I do however want to make sure the model I received is actually a 2 speed but I don't yet know how to identify that. Any suggestions? If needed, I can take some pics of it. I have no idea of brand or model so I won't try to guess.

Second, when I initally start it up, would it be wise to put a few drops of marvel mystery oil in it and rotate the engine to lubricate the cylinder walls? I use that stuff every year before I first crank my boat over and it really helps!
I've also seen diffrent posts on the break in process. Some saying one thing and some saying other things. Anyone care to give a few quick pointers?
