The Rare Bear will work perfectly all day long, as long as you do the proper mods and keep the speed below 120 mph. I would still be flying mine had I been content to that but I was having fun with the lil toni's and shoestrings.


The OS 160 is the perfect match for that airplane in my opinion, as long as you keep the 3 blade prop(16x8) which will keep the speed in the range of about 115mph which is still pretty respectable. I was running a two blade 15x11 prop and flying at 130 mph when my stab let go. That is just too fast for that airplane, even with the mods. BTW.. my speeds are not ball park figures, they are per my radar gun.
