Default RE: What motor do we need ???

After Matt gave his (as usual) good reply I checked my E-Flite. It is a 370, and I use it in a depron bipe at appr 9 oz. Enough power for that bird

Next step up in size is the AXI 2814/12, add APC 11x5,5E or 11x6CAM-folder for max thrust without destroying the motor. But then you add 30 gram weight (heavier motor) and the battery should be able to handle 35 amp.
It is always a good idea to use ESC etc which handles more than just what you want, if the cost and weight isn`t an issue. Same issue on the battery.

Other choices: MPJet 2810/13 could be a choice. But I have no experience on these my self, strange enough I have been loyal to Nippy and AXI when it comes to small brushless joybringers.

Hope you get the bipe airborne and happy landings
