This has ben a very interesting thread. I am surprised how Thunder Tiger is reacting to the design defect and wouldn't be surprised to see a class action lawsuit if they continue to play opossum.

Great job guys on the modifications. I still am thinking about getting the kit just for the engineering challenge. No, we cannot fly it light an Unlimited because it just wasn't designed for those types of stresses, but it is great that Ad pushed the envelope of the plane so that we now know how far we can stress the model with the mods done.

What is interesting is that without modifications, which void the warranty if done, the model won't survive simple, common manuvers. I have always liked Thunder Tiger engines and thought they had great quality and service and am surprised by how they are reacting to the problems that some are experiencing with this model.
