Default RE: Camcorder for jets

My suggestion is to get the Canon GL2, or the Sony FX1 or Z1U, and a new Quad mac G5 with Cinema Displays (2) and the Final Cut Studio software (after that 2nd mortgage of course) and have a ball.

Good luck with that!

Hi Paul,

That was an excellent post!

For the Windows users out there; Final Cut Studio and Final Cut Pro are sold by Apple for Apple Macs only. That's right, there is not a Windows version of this sofware..... This software is generally regarded as the very best video production software around but if you are looking for a Windows version then you are SOL. We have a Mac that my wife purchased specifically so we could run Final Cut Studio.

I think that Adobe Premier Pro and Sony Vegas are probably about as good as you can do on Windows systems. I also have Adobe Premier and it is very complete. If you only care about posting your video to the internet then you should just use Windows Movie Maker or look at one of the low end products such as Roxio Videowave.

Thanks,

Gordon
