Just a FYI on the composites side, the finger prints come from pulling the part when it is green, because you don't make money having the part sit in the mold. (AKA, they need to bake the parts in the mold to solve this problem, it is logistics, not a process problem)

And the dimples come from the way they do the skins and then the core, it takes too long to do each individualy, if they did, no one could afford one. But they are still made to almost flight critical parts level of, lets say, a modern fighter plane! (full scale)
