When the Power Racing MT comes out, Nitros will never be offroad contenders again. 9.25" tires, 6" ground clearance, 4wd, and long travel suspension. Still, the FG MT will beat all Nitros in offroad capability. I have seen FG MTs climb curbs and rocks taller than their tires. It has good ground clearance (4") and large tires (8") and with the addition of a viscous or self locking diff to put the power to the ground better, should go places a Nitro cant.
Tell us again you aren't Canadian RC........ I would almost say IF the
PR MT comes out. It was said to be out the end of 2005. The time has come and it has yet to be seen beyond the half finished, half designed one-off prototype.
In offroad capability 4wd wins hands down no matter the size of the vehicle. For the sole purpose of having a 4wd truck I am building a maxx-gasser... all the benefits of 4wd with out the nitro hassle

I will still love the Marder/MT but I honestly think the 4wd will be more fun for the backyard as opposed to the HUGE flood-plains where I run my 1/6 FGs.
