Think the Losi LST 2 isn't as tough as the Savage or Revo but those also come with cheap radio gear the Losi comes with decent radio gear a JR XS3 if I remember right...I saw one at the LHS was high priced..$680...which really your into that on a Revo or Savage when you replace the radio gear...the Losi didn't seem built as well as the top 2 Nitro MT's though...A FG will give you best of both worlds...it's more pricey as RTR Nitro's but you'll save in fuels, headaches and so on....but if your seriously looking to bash it then a gaser won't hold up well...they are real heavy and break pretty easy...the Losi would out jump a FG anyday, as far as speed that'd be close the Losi's designed more for torque like the savage....if it was a Revo I'd say out of the box it'd beat a FG but Losi it's doubtful...people assume the larger gasoline engines automatically make something faster and they really don't...sure with gear changes and all they can be fast but out of the box their really not speed demon's. Unless you get the FG F1 or Leopard Race supposedly real fast also. It all comes down to just what do you want. I do enjoy my gasers but I also enjoy hammering my Nitro's something I can't really do on the gasers....I'd still toss my vote on the FG just because I really don't like the Losi LST 2 design, plus i got enough Nitro's anyhow can't wait to pop open the FG MT the wife got me for xmas
