RE: cermark javelin II comments or input ?
I've got one. I installed an old O.S. .61 FSR, sidemounted with a pitts style muffler. I'm not a big fan of inverted engine installations. It's a very nice flyer. There's a few Javelin threads in the pattern section. Bend the gear wires well forward prior to installing. This'll keep it from nosing over. The gear wire is very soft and tends to bend back easily. This is an airplane that can benefit greatly from a little better servos. If you're a good flyer and want to hold knife edge, the standard servo on rudder doesn't have a lot of holding power - a 5 cell pack would certainly help. For entry level pattern type flying, this ARF is a very good value - well built, looks good and flys great. Hope you have as much fun with yours as I do with mine! Cheers
