Default RE: brison 3.2 what prop

I prefer the MSC 22-8 over any of the other props I have tried for the 3.2 on a 17-18 pound Extra. The Menz and Mejzlik 22-8 get "ripped" by the engine and neither provides the upline thrust or down line braking like the MSC does. I gave away my Mekzlik 22-10 after learning through experience that was not nearly as predictable through the rpm changes as the MSC 22-8, and that the MSC provided much, much better low speed airflow. At least I was able to maintain much better control authority at super low speeds than I was able to with anything else.

Agreed, the MSC 22-8 does not provide the higher rpm numbers of the others, but at the rpm levels it does produce (around 6,800 at S.L.) it appears to do so much more efficiently and effectively than the others I have noted. A 20-10 MSC will provide more rpm, but won't perrform as well, I assure you. The MSC 22-8 may be a lot of wood, but like some girls I've known it seems to have all the right parts in all the right places in the right amounts.
