RE: Welcome classic pattern flyers!
I'm familiar with the Cougar, which is not to be confused with the later 'King Cobra..' I bought a custom built one from an old friend Gary Horn, who bought it from John Connors who evenings off his Government job had a really memorable little shop in the corner of a Drug Store in District Heights Maryland years back. This airplane has EXCELLENT flying manners at all flying speeds it is "groovey"and predictabable as they used to say. With that plastic turtle deck and clear canopy and foam wings you will have it together and looking great in no time I'M sure...and with say the latestest production model of the O.S.46 and the air frame covered with Ultracoat or Monokote( for example,) you will have a cool airplane A keeper-----------[8D]
