Just hope that I crash my PT-40 and the fuse is a total loss. Then I'll have to sell you the wing, right?
Short version: I built this plane as a kit 9-10 years ago when I was in high school, buddy-boxed on it a couple times, and then the elevator control was lost and it went in. I rebuilt it and it sat for 8 years in my parents attic. I got the bug to fly it again a month or two back, and grabbed it from them last time I visited new hampshire. Bruce8813423587364934698349672396723967397 has been giving me a couple tips and has kindly agreed to buddy-box me.
If you feel up to building a wing with ailerons for it, I could run off some photocopies of the wing plans and the manual at Kinkos.
Here's a picture of an aileron-equipped PT-40 since no one seems to know what it is...[8D]

I have a PT20 MK1 just like your plane, only smaller. I have a question regarding the way the rubber bands hold the wing on. The PT20 and 40 MK1 don't have balsa sheeting at the top, center of the wing (as can been seen in your picture). Is there enough support just from the wing spars to resist the force of the rubber bands? Especially in the rear half of the wing there is only covering up against the rubber bands.
