Jim never flew the twist, but watched quite a few of them fly though. The shorter len. makes them a little squirrelly to me. The UCD on low rates is trainer-like, take-offs & landing are slow and predictable. no severe stall tendensies. You didn't say where your CG is. would suggest 4 3/4" to no more than 5 1/2' for the first couple flights. These guys will move it back to 6" or more. Really tail heavy for landings, but great for 3-D. On high rates it still flies smooth as silk. You point it, thats where it goes. I'm a beginner in 3-d also. Inverted is almost hands off. Spins and knife-edge are not there for me yet. It will land itself. Seriously!
