RE: PRAYERS AND SUPPORT FOR TAM
I spoke to Tam for a little while last night, and he sounded remarkably upbeat, albeit exhausted too.
Seems like Kayla (hope I got the spelling right) is fairly active despite her unexpectedly early arrival, and the docs consider that to be a very positive sign. Nevertheless, she will need to be closely monitored 24 hrs per day for about the next 3 months, and that, combined with the awkward commute up to Hayward every night (until she may be strong enough to perhaps be moved to a hospital closer to Tam's home) is bound to create enough stress to drive most people a little nuts. So, I hope the compassion etc that so many people have generously shown here can continue beyond the holiday season, with people cutting Tam some slack if he perhaps gets distracted while dealing with your orders etc in the next couple of months. Tam's rep's (John Orito and Dave Presta) are both here on RCU to help you out if you need them, and hopefully they can take some of the load off of Tam when needed.
Tam told me "She's very tiny, but she is soooo beautiful..." - guess she's already got Dad wrapped firmly around her tiny little finger. That didn't take long !!
