The stock horns are strong enough and work fine. I was a little apprehensive about the little screws so I used longer ones.
I cut away the covering material under the horns before mounting them and applied J-B Weld to the surfaces, holes and screws. I wiped away the J-B Weld that oozed out after I torqued the screws.
