Tam---When I took my premee boy home he barely weighed a little over 4 lbs---He is now 45 inches tall and only 4 1/2 years old!!! He is in the 75th percentile for weight and height...(50% is the benchmark for average.) He only has to grow a little more than 2 feet in the next 14 years to be 6 feet tall--I think he'll make it---And yours will grow too!!! Tam, keep the faith and I'm praying for your girl.
