That battery should work fine. When I had problems, I also e-mailed them, and wasn't in the best of moods when I did so, I got an e-mail the next day saying that they had shipped me an entire new plane, which I happen to have destroyed today Off to the hobby shop for some depron, CF, hinge tape, and some more glue. I actually bought a JR 6102 with ultra lite gear. I think you can get it for about 200 bucks on horizon, I paid 240 at my LHS a while ago. I love it, it was well worth the extra money. Think of it this way, if you buy a nicer Tx now, you wont need to buy a new one all the time, just get a nice one, the 6102 can handle 10 plane/heli's! You may also want to check the price on the electrifly batteries, my LHS just put out a huge bin of them for 29.99 a piece!
