Read the first post on this page and that might help. You want to make sure that the 4-n-1 light turns to a solid green before moving the helicopter. The throttle is the left stick. Make sure that it is all the way down before connecting the battery. There are other posts on the page prior at the bottom that have great information also. See if that works for you.
