Default RE: E-FLIGHT BLADE CP

Fire,

I only wish I had done some research and checked out RCU before I got my Blade CP. I went to a local Hobby Shop here in Salt Lake City thinking, "Hey, what better place to get some expert advice on which helicopter would be best suited for me, as I have never operated an RC vehicle or aircraft in my life". Well evidentally I overestimated the sales staff's expertise, or underestimated their motivation to sell product.

In any event, I have already broken the seal and it's mine, so now I need to learn how to fly it. I have been trying to get a training gear for about the last week, but it seems any parts for this particular heli are hard to come by, (seems it's VERY popular). I get that, being as it's less than $250 bucks and ready to fly right out of the box, but I am already twitching, wanting to give hovering another shot today. I only skidded it around on the living room floor yesterday and already dinged up the blades a bid, so I am trying to restrain myself. Other than the training gear, (which I will get before I lift off), and a sim (which looks like a $50-$75 investment, not to mention that the consensus for the best sim for heli doesn't support Blade CP yet), I am guesing my best bet for shortening the learning curve will be an actual person with rc flight experience. So how do I find someone, without going back into the same hobby store that sold me a viper in a sack?
