Hi i am thinking of buying a cox 010. But what plane would i put it on rc?

Can i pretty much use any 16-24 inch gulliows ff model to convert to rc with the cox 010. I would like to know before i go out and buy the motor. What radio gear do you use? i have a Hitec Feather rx, i think
