RE: U-Can-Do 3d 46?
HI Jack. Thanks for your informative answer to my question comparing the Twist to the UCD. Thanks to Rob, 38, and Doug, who answered also. I have seen you on other threads. Perhaps the Twist one. I really love the Twist. I am hoping that the UCD will take me to the next plateau of flying experience. I am hoping, that since it has a much longer body, it will be a little easier to control, at least with elevator, and rudder, because of the longer moment arm.
I have been using low rates on the Twist. When I started my high rates were the specified low rates and my low rates were 70% of the specified low rates. Should I start the UCD at these same low, low rates?
The Twist in not currently available but Horizon said it should be back in stock in late January. I concur with your comment about initial product quality. I think both ARF's are amazing for what you get for your dollar, but Hanger 9, in my opinion, is superior. If they ever come out with a Twist 60 or 120 I'll buy 10 of them!
Whoops. Got away from the fact that this is a UCD forum. Sorry. I am up north for the holidays, but will be back in Florida in a few weeks. Expect that my new UCD/82 will see the maiden sometime in January.
Merry Christmas and a Happy, Prosperous new year to all the great contributors on this list.
