- Describing field set-up (flight lines)
Basic Aresti Reading ( Basic and Sportsman)
Judging---Learning how to judge, what to look for during specific maneuvers.
Throttle Management ( How and Why not to RIP your prop in front of judges)
Calling—How to call and watch other aircraft in flight.
When to call avoidance or breaks.
Setting up and entering the box.
Trimming and balancing your plane.
After we have finished the above :
We will set up two flight lines………………….
Line One
Will have the pilot fly his/her sequence with an expert caller calling for the pilot with two provisional judges scoring.
There will an experienced judge behind the provisionals.
Scores will be compared for consistency.
Line Two
Will have the pilot fly his/her sequence with the corrections noted by the expert caller on line one. This pilot will fly in front of experienced judges. These judges will also have provisional judges for scribes. Line two will have a new pilot as the caller.
The above will continue to go as long as we need and light allows.
During the above time any pilot needing any type of help will get it.
SUNDAY 8:30 AM
Will set up as a contest with flight l;ines A&B running Experienceed pilots will serve as judges. Each Pilot will fly in front of both set of judges.
During this time we will show how to use and set sun abaders for early morning flying.
