I just purchased a Blade CP a couple of days ago. I am new to helis so I've had a few minor crashes. Now I have severe vibration. The paddles are level and I think the blades are tracking correctly so I don't think that is the cause. I do notice that the shaft looks warped if I'm viewing from the top and while power is about 1/3 . The arming / gyro light also blinks red and green very rapidly as soon as the copter lifts off.
Also, when I pitch left the rotation slows dramatically and it makes a pretty bad noise. Could the shaft be warped. I didn't think the crashes that I had were that bad. Thank you for any advise as I'm pretty bummed out.
Check out the large gear on the bottom of the shaft. I landed mine in idle up mode by mistake and it sheared off a couple of teeth making the unit vibrate. Easy to replace, comes as a whole unit with main shaft attached.
