ORIGINAL: hellwheels

rock_the_stock- I agree with you, ppl need to calm down.

The things I've noticed on my Evader is that the plastic is actually Durable as long as you drive in a warm climate, but when its cold, its brittle like glass!

I know it's not a great plastic but I can also choose not to bash to hard during the winter, and if something would break Duratrax replaces the part, no questions asked, within a year of purchase that is.

I cant say this and that about the motor, shure it has started to sound bad, but I havent seen any notable perfomence dips yet.

About your crack in the "rear chassis plate", I did the exakt (at least we think it was me) damage to my friends Evader, but it was om his right rear wheel, the exact!!!!that chunk blew off and that crack accoured. So I guess the "plate" is the weakest point on the evader. The crack accoured while me "bumping" into his Evader, with mine, at maybe... 15 mph or so, it was snow outside so I wouldnt steer the car clear from his, it just skidded right onto him.
Yup, It was my car's rear chassi plate that went and I can confirm that it wasn't fast at all, so guessing as wheels said, when its cold (below 0C?) the plastic gets really fragile and therefore maybee one should avoid running or atleast try not to bash it up that much
I myself have replaced the Rear Chassi Plate, the Transmission Bracer and the Rear Shock Tower with aluminum. To be noted though is that I got access to machinery and a wealth of knowlage in my family so I had it custom made
Don't have a digital camera so can't post any pictures but I'm really happy with it now and hopefully it will hold better, If I don't break the whole main chassi or the arms that is
