5945 on rudder
I got the digital servos for the centering torque, not so much for the deflection torque. You only need about 60 oz-inch for elevators/ailerons and 100 for rudder, since elevators and rudder are counter balanced. Especiall because the elevators are extremely counter-balanced, it's easy to have flutter if the centering torque is not enough. Seeing several people reporting the stab break due to flutter, I went for the digital servos.
One thing I suspect why some people broke the stab is that they push the elevators more than they physicall want to move: hinge lines too tight, edge bevel is not enough... When you push the elevators beyond the limit, you will flex the push-rod and/or strain the stab. So if you want to exceed the control throw, leave a wider hinge gap, which may cause slow speed to suffer a little.
