So I've read in some of the other posts that people have modified their smartech's and gotten higher speed by messing with the gearing, and also a tuned pipe etc.

Can someone give me some idea of how you would/ what it means to adjust the gearing?

Also - I saw an aritcle about tuning a pipe, I guess, with a dremel tool to make it a little wider and smoother to create a more efficient air stream. Is this something you can do to improve the smartech as well?
