RE: Model in tree - retrieval anyone
Thanks CP140
You are a sensitive man, and as a reciprocal gesture, I will down one to remember your Eagle two too. If you are still hopeful of getting the rest of the wings out, I am left with these cats and giraffes - no use to me.
On a serious note, you have ignited a new flame - of not knowing the fate of my airplane. In over twenty years of modelling I have been through at least fifty or so models (without counting, could be a few more). Some were given away, some cannibalized, some crashed. But this would be the first to go away without a trace. Now I am not at all worried about the plane or the gear in it, I have been blessed with multiple examples of each - but not knowing its fate, thats unknown territory to me.
Just this afternoon I went on ebay shops and bought a few new servos and placed a bid on an engine. I felt this compensatory action was enough to get things out of my system.
Not any more, now I want to know what happens to the model. Since I am perhaps the only flier in town, I doubt if the finder could have a decent use for it. Would it end up in the bin [&o]
God knows
Sadder still
